I bring many years of experience from the sport to the table when it comes to cycling coaching. After training with some of the top-level athletes in California, I began to fall more and more in love with the sport.
Trainingpeaks University along with the help of other coaches is where I continue to get my training. I have personally had a cycling coach for years and see the value in it. I understand what it takes to be an elite level athlete. This knowledge has motivated me to help others reach their full potential. I focus on getting your body and mind centered on the task at hand when preparing you to compete against the best or simply crush those weekend rides. Currently, data is king, and that is why I use WKO5 power analysis software to help personalize each individuals training program.

Chaz is one of the most approachable and knowledge mentors, both on and off the bike, with whom I have ever worked. I am a challenging athlete to coach, with a perpetual tendency to overtrain, an inquisitive mind that questions everything, and frequent last minute schedule changes given my career in medicine. Chaz has gone above and beyond in every regard: rein me in so I recovery properly, answered every question quickly and completely, and always helps keep my schedule flexible so I don’t have to feel guilty shortening or missing a workout because I am stuck at the hospital. In a year of coaching, Chaz has helped me to increase my FTP by nearly 20% to a solid 4.8 w/kg and worked with me on my racing tactics, helping me make the jump in road racing from cat 4 to cat 2 in less than a season.
Most importantly, I consider him a friend; you don’t want to disappoint your friends, so this is just one more motivator! I can not recommend him enough!!!
